BIOGRAPHY

Linda L. Chappo is the Executive Director of Heart To Heart Living, headquartered in El Cerrito, California.

In July 2007, Linda was trained at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck NY in "The Art of Empowerment" with David Gershon and Gail Straub.

Linda has an extensive background in the healing arts. In Sept. 2001 she received training in psychosynthesis at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California. She also trained in Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction with the Omega Institute at Mt. Madonna Center with Jon-Kabat Zinn.

She has led workshops at retreats, and at the Unity Church in Berkeley, CA. She wrote spiritual-based newsletters for the Community Miracles Center, and a Community Assessment Report for the International Institute and San Francisco Dept. of Public Health. She also worked for Bay Area Community Resources, a non-profit agency, in the area of tobacco control and awareness.

From September 1998 - August 2000 she was an executive assistant, webmaster, graphic designer, and ACIM 1 teacher at the Community Miracles Center (A church devoted to the spiritual principles of A Course in Miracles) in San Francisco, CA.

On January 14, 1995 Linda was ordained as a minister at the Community Miracles Center in San Francisco, CA. She is a spiritual counselor, ACIM teacher, and has served at the CMC for nearly twenty years in various capacities; writer for Miracles Monthly, retreat leader, Sunday Sermons, Prayer Ministry, teacher and committee work.

Linda received her hypnotherapy certification in 1993 from the Hypnotherapy Training Institute with Randal Churchill and Marlene Mulder in Corte Madera, CA,  and also at the Alchemy Institute with David Quigley in San Anselmo, CA.

She was certified as a Holistic Health Counselor under Patricia Kramer at the World School of Advanced Healing Arts in San Francisco in 1992 and later received certification in Swedish Massage at the San Francisco School of Massage.

Linda is a 2005 graduate of the California Culinary Academy and holds a AOS degree in the Culinary Arts.

She is also a speaker, workshop and retreat leader, freelance writer, author, graphic designer and marketing specialist.
